Rust Rod
Thick, gooey, vintage rams head style fuzz

Massive compressed fuzz
with a fat voice
The Skreddy Pedals™ Rust Rod is a new take on the classic rams head fuzz circuit.
The tone is huge with no anemic mid scoop.
Thick fuzz with a mid-70's liquid response and a toothy, aggressive distortion. Sounds great on riffs and chords!
Circa 1974 some of those Big Muffs* were amazing
The Rust Rod sounds like one of the good ones; maybe better (e.g.; lower noise). No pulling back or compromising, just pure heavy vintage fuzz.
* The term "Big Muff" is (probably) a trademark of Electro-Harmonix and is only being used here for comparison.
Full-throttle, pedal-to-the-metal fuzz that ain't holdin' nothin' back
Thick, gooey sustain and tone for days that sounds good no matter how you set the knobs
Has that smooth, old-school charm instead of a hot, modern voice. The brightness has been calibrated to sound best with the tone knob at around noon, more or less.
Power
Regular 9v negative ground, no special power requirements. 9v battery is not included. If you use a battery, then remember to un-plug the input cable from the pedal’s input jack when not in use to prevent draining (or you can also just plug in a power-supply, which disconnects the battery).
You may supply external power through an AC adapter. All Skreddy Pedals accept the industry-standard 9v DC plug (5.5mm barrel x 2.1mm center coax), negative tip. Please use a quality, regulated, filtered power supply.

"Hi Marc,
Have to let you know, but shows what a wacky world we are in, a Rust Rod came up on UK eBay Thursday so I bought it and received it today...
...it is basically exactly what I was looking for - aggressive Rams Head with a perfect Mid content which can be dialled up/down/in/out on a home small amp :) and sustain to die for.
I went through a couple of muffs before this, including a xxx which was great but just too polite!
Grinning from ear to ear, thankyou."
